BiodieselFuel from the NatureOn February 23, 1893 the Imperial Patent Bureau in Berlin registers "Method and apparatus for the transformation of intense heat into work". The requestor of the patent was the German engineer Rudolph Diesel and the apparatus was the predecessor of the contemporary diesel engine which at that point was running on peanut oil. Diesel himself thought that petrol products in the future will become an expensive and luxurious commodity. Nowadays this thought is not far from becoming reality and the only true alternative to the needs of the huge amount of vehicles which currently exist is the production of vegetable oils - biodiesel. Biodiesel is a renewable fuel manufactured from vegetable oils such as rape oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil as well as residual oils from frying or animal fats. Biodiesel has a proven and significant positive impact on the environment, decreases the impact on global warming, decreases emissions, provide energy independence and a positive influence on farming. Different researches have performed calculations proving that the use of 1 kg of biodiesel leads to the decrease with about 3 kg the amount of СО2. Therefore the use of biodiesel leads to a significant decrease of СО2 emissions(65% -90% in comparison with conventional diesel), the emissions of solid particles and other harmful emissions. Biodiesel has extremely low sulphur content, high lubricity and quick biodegradability. These are all of the advantages which have been confirmed by different programs of the EU Commission and tests performed by independent research institutes. The use of biodiesel in Europe is an important step for the European Union towards achieving the goal of reducing the emissions in accordance with the Kyoto agreement. Biodiesel production plays an important role in farming. In accordance with the current agricultural policy, raw materials which are necessary for the production of biodiesel may be grown on low-quality land which would otherwise be classified as non-cultivable. Nowadays the production of biodiesel requires and uses around 3 million ha in the EU. Rapid Oil Industry Co., Ltd. produces a high-quality biodiesel B100 which fully meets the quality requirements of BDS EN 14 214 (see quality certificate). The technology is developed by the company team and is protected by patent. The process is completely automatic and is controlled by a computer interface SCADA. The factory capacity is 60 000t/y. The ready product is offered with EXW conditions with the possibility of expedition using road and railroad tanks. Batches from 20 t to 1 200 t. The company can also work with raw materials provided by the client provided that they meet the input quality parameters of the oils. |
