VesselsMechanical engineeringThe vessels in chemical installations are generally used for intermediate storage, provision of daily supply of raw material, ageing and separation, buffering during uninterrupted cycles. Usually these types of vessels are manufactured from inoxidable steel but when conditions allow it, ordinary black metals may be used. The vessels may be constructed with an external tempering shirt or internal serpentines for heating or cooling. The temperature range varies between -10 to + 80 Сº, and the work pressure varies from 0.06 MPa to 0.04 MPa. The vessels may be qualified according to their intended purpose as vertical, horizontal, underground and ground-level, with or without heating, separating, buffering and storage. Dimensions vary between 0.5 and 60 m³. |
